Stephen completed the gruelling 5k obstacle course in an amazing 31:11, coming 72nd out of 750. What a fantastic result! Thank you Stephen for raising vital funds for the Bond Board and many thanks to all those who kindly sponsored him for their generosity.

Stephen Lewis, Vice-chair of the Bond Board’s Management Committee will attempt to complete the Manchester Urbanathlon on Sunday 31st July 2011, in order to raise funds for the Bond Board. With many thanks to Lloyds TSB Foundation for England & Wales we can now employ a volunteer co-ordinator and operate a volunteer service in Rochdale and Bolton to work with our service users for three years. We have also been successful with our application to the Transition Fund. To see how we plan to use this money, click on the link and find us amongst the 183 organisations who have been awarded:

We are 1 of only 49 projects who have been successful with our grant application from Crisis. This will allow us to start our new project, “Letting Out”. We aim to match tenants in Rochdale and place them into private rented accommodation.
