My role at The Bond Board is Trainee Project Worker. During my role I help support people with issues such as food and fuel poverty, universal credit and much more. I also help with our fortnightly Coffee Mornings where we offer advice, a hot drink and some toast.

Alison Eastwood (Bond Board Development Manager)
My role is to support the development of The Bond Board. This includes fundraising, marketing, partnership working and monitoring and reporting on the difference we make. I work in partnership with the Leadership Team to support the strategic development of the organisation. I also manage the Tenant’s Advocacy Service and I’m proud of the impact the team makes in preventing people from becoming homeless.

I have the huge privilege and responsibility to lead the talented staff team at The Bond Board, as we strive to achieve our vision of a safe, accessible, just and sustainable private rented housing sector for people on low incomes in the communities we serve. I have the significant duty of making sure that we accomplish as much as we can, for as many people who need our services, by ensuring that all our resources are well managed and by maintaining our many partnerships. I’m proud to work at The Bond Board, doing my bit to prevent and reduce homelessness, which such a committed team of staff, volunteers and Trustees.

My job at The Bond Board is to manage a team of Support Workers, delivering high quality housing- related support to private rented tenants in the Rochdale Borough. I enjoy working with my skilled and knowledgeable team to improve the lives and wellbeing of our service users.

Business Support Development Officer
My responsibility is to accurately record all financial transactions, staff wages/pensions, complete reports for the Chief Officer/Accountant/Auditor, monitor staff Flex Planner and other financial duties. Also to upgrade/amend financial systems to keep up-to-date with current changes.

Caitlin Chippendale-Housing Officer
I am one of the Housing Officers for the social lettings project at The Bond Board, ‘Letting Out’. My role is to supervise the day-to-day maintenance and management of a vast number of rented properties that belong to our landlords in the Private Rented Sector. I provide support to all types of tenants, some who are previous rough sleepers and ex-offenders to help them start a tenancy in the private rented sector and help to continue to maintain this tenancy and successfully live independently. I work in partnership with landlords, contractors, and other professionals to help vulnerable people live independent lives. I find my job is extremely fulfilling and rewarding.

Chris Bearman (Complex Needs & Move On Navigator)
My job at The Bond Board is to manage some of our most complex cases with the most moving parts, helping vulnerable people to navigate the often confusing landscape of care and support that is available to them. I enjoy working with a wide variety of services and that no two days are the same.

Ciara Walker (Housing First Team Leader)
My job at the Bond Board is to support and motivate the Housing First team to deliver an excellent service across Bury, Bolton and Rochdale. Our team strives to support those that may have experienced rough sleeping, homelessness, and or with complex needs to sustain their tenancy long term. I enjoy providing support to the team to ensure their delivery to the service users is person centred and in line with the Housing First principles

My job is to support and motivate my team to deliver an excellent Housing First service across Bury, Bolton and Rochdale. I enjoy immensely working with a caring and passionate team in partnership with other local services to support people on the Housing First programme to settle into tenancies and flourish following a period of rough sleeping and challenging lifestyles.

Debi McGlinchey (Community Development Worker)
When Covid restrictions allow, I help people at our fortnightly coffee morning where people come along for advice or just a chat. I also offer crisis intervention for landlords or tenants to help sustain tenancies. I have also helped people to move into secure social housing, more suited to their needs, where possible.

Emily Mcloughlin (Senior Housing Officer-Letting Out)
My role involves frontline work with regards to all aspects of property management and supporting the team on The Bond Board’s social enterprise project Letting Out where we manage properties on behalf of landlords in the Private Rented Sector. We liaise with contractors and other organisations to bring empty properties back in to use, house people from all walks of life and provide a support network in order for them to successfully maintain their tenancy.
