As landlords, you will know the importance of providing a copy of the latest How to Rent guide when signing up a new tenant, or renewing a tenancy. This is particularly relevant if you later need to serve a Section 21. Without evidence that you have served the most recent version of the guide, your claim for possession could be struck out.

The latest version of the guide is dated 2nd October 23 and should be used for all new tenancies (including renewals). You can find the guide HERE
