ACTS 435-A lifeline for people in need

Homeless people we've helped   Tenants we’ve helped   Who we've helped

We have been now partnering with Acts 435 for 18 months and have supported over 50 people by applying  funds of up to £200 for items such as white goods, carpets and baby essentials as well as payments towards rent and council tax arrears. Acts 435 works with a network of churches and charities to connect people who want to give with those who are in need.

A partner organisation can make a request on behalf of someone in need and the request is posted so that potential donors can help meet the need. Once the need has been met in full, the funds are released to the partner organisation to purchase the required items on behalf of the person being supported. There is also an opportunity for the person being supported to give feedback on how the funds have helped them and provide a note of thanks.

Acts 435 has been a great resource as there are no conditions or specific elibility criteria to be met in order to apply
